just had a breakthrough for all the people having problems extracting from the zip file. im probably the only one.. LOL!!
i couldn't get it to work so i tried extracting it to the desktop and that did work, i then dragged it into mods folder.
great game

i also have version 1.1, maybe you could try uninstalling it and then re-installing it

Does it matter what unzipping program u use cause i got winzip or do you need a different program????

i created a mod folder in my foc folder but when i went to extract the data to the folder it said error unable to extract what can i do to fix this problem?

I think that when u do a space battle your fighters should start acctually inside the ship and when u get close to the enemy fleet u click a button which sends them out to attack the enemys fleet and fighters

What modding software did you use cause i might have a go at a bit of moddin myself
