Well I know its one of the most talked about things in gaming right now, but I thought Id throw my 2 cents in and get your alls input. I for one loved the ending and Ill explain why; From the moment I started running towards the portal I knew this was it, the climax to 6 years fanboyism and of over 300 hours of gameplay and love, as I began to get all misty eyed the reaper beam hit me and I realized what I knew all along was going to happen... Shepard will die. Burnt to a crisp shepard goes on after taking another shot and entering the portal (some believe you are indoctrinated at this point) seeing the illusive man and anderson in the same room and what goes down in that room shook me and sent cold chills down my back, never before have I felt this way about a character in a game. Because never before has it been me...choosing the destruction of all synthetic life was a no brainer and to realize there would never be a happy ending for shepard. But I defeated the odds. Sent the reapers back to dark space...Credits roll....But wait you see shepards crippled body laying in the crumbled city of london...as it zooms in I began to think.....NO.....and then *gasp* shepard is alive!!!!!!! THAT IS HOW YOU END THE GREATEST TRILOGY EVER. To me this was the best possible ending. And the epilogue after the credits....brought a third set of tears to my eyes...."Tell me another story, about the shepard" !!!!!!!!!!!
