Sometimes I mod Oni. Sometimes I do other stuff. No, wait, I just mod Oni.

The animation is a bit rough, yes. We don't have any dedicated animators in the community.

Hmm, that's a strange error. Please stop by our forum at Oni.bungie.org and we can discuss this in detail.

Sorry guys, we were bad about not checking back here. Not sure why, because we do appreciate all the views our work has gotten here and we're happy to provide help (though sometimes the Oni Central Forum, linked to at the top of the page, is a better place for support because a group can help you). Anyway, I will try to come back here frequently and answer questions from now on!

Hmm, normally it's the opposite! If you want some help, click on the Official Page link above, and follow it to our forum. We're helpful blokes over there.

It's hard to help you if you're not specific, sahib. We have a forum for reporting problems at oni.bungie.org, maybe you should stop by.

The old school Bungie fan will find this image quite funny, as the Oni "level" above bears a striking resemblance to the Marathon netmap Mars Needs Women, textures and all. What makes it especially amusing is that Marathon did not support vertically-sloping surfaces, and the Oni devs seem to have hastily pasted in those overhangs as if to say, "There! *Now* Marathon does ledges!"

I'm guessing the Oni devs needed a level to play with for multiplayer testing, and fast, so they ripped another Bungie game's content to get things going.

Yeah, the models' textures were shifted to the black end of the spectrum :-) There is also some part-swapping going on, to produce new-looking models from pre-existing pieces.
