Hmm... A banner that has a word that starts with an R, a road that I think I saw an army march across, and I believe it's by the ocean with a big cannon attaches. I know, it's Dollet!!! :)

Not a bad guess. ;-)

Dollet and the oh-so mysterious location with the 'R' banner have a lot in common. I think Dollet even uses some of the same textures. I guess I'm not the first person to notice the similarities!

Surprised you did not put in the lamps for good measure :P

Are you just doing renders?

I thought about adding lamps. But that'd just make it too cluttered. :D

I could easily port this to fallout or some other game, of course. The facecount (with all the modifiers removed) is about 40,000 but that could be optimized pretty easily.

...A Junon mod would be a simple project, even compared to the shinra tower. There are 8 levels with 70 identical buildings. You never know. ;-)

I'm just afraid to indulge too much in my obsessions like I used to.

I was going to say Junon Harbour but you said that in the above comment so I guess I was too late to guess. :(

Description

Hm. I wonder if anyone can guess where this is. :-)

This was my spring-break project for myself since I was bored and internetless. I started on March 10. After endless tweaking I'm satisfied. This image was created entirely within Blender3D. Blender's composite editor handled all the post-render effects. Goes to show that Blender's default setup can produce some high-quality images.

Also, I'm still using 2.49b. I don't believe in upgrading. ;-)
