Im using a Lenovo G700 laptop, running windows 8.1 on a intel pentium 2.4GHz core with 6GB RAM.

Theres also an Intel Pentium HD Graphics Ivy Bridge Card.

As for in game settings im using:

Enable V-Sync: ON
Shadows: ON
Hyperspace Quality: HIGH
Detail Geometry: ON
Damage FX LOD: HIGH
Lighting LOD: HIGH
Geometry Scaling: OFF
NLips: OFF

thanks for the reply, the shortcut is "C:\Program Files (x86)\ Sierra\Homeworld2\Bin\ Release\Homeworld2.exe" -w 1600 -h 900 -hardwarecursor -mod ultra.big

I dont know why, but with this mod every single ship is just blindingly bright, basically white, the shortcut to the ultra file is working, but the mods not functioning properly, could anyone help me out?
