unfortunately i don't think so. I think we would be open to it, but nobody currently working on the team is doing this type of thing.

I am sorry for your loss. we will do our best.
The coming release is effectively a total overhaul of the mod already and will be followed by bugfix patches as needed. As the scene maker I anticipate that I will continue to update a "scenes" patch that will be save compatible and add additional custom historically accurate scenes after the main release. I can't say that in the future there won't be additional updates for other parts of the mod but that is not what we are thinking about at the moment.
We have a discord but it is not public because dealing with moderation is a task in itself and would take away from actual modding. Often people who are still modding warband already have their own projects they are focused on so finding new people to contribute is probably much harder than you are imagining. That being said, we have had a lot of valuable contributions from other modders who are not active on this moddb page.
dont worry its real idk what this guys on about
i would personally love to get good updates for the horses but i havent been able to find a suitable replacement or get a modeler interested enough to redo them
as far as i know we don't plan to, because it requires WSE which the mod doesn't currently use.
they are getting updated to an extent, at least the looks of the walls/floors/wood/lighting. I have not done much for adding any new taverns, but the new castles will often have interiors that make sense compared to their exterior and some have custom placed assets inside also.
showing previews of interiors is difficult because they are cramped spaces. I will preview some kind of interior soon. I am working on finishing up new floor materials that i want to show.
X definitely should be working. I don't think it is applicable for every weapon though, are you sure your are trying to do it with a weapon that has an alternate mode? Also, have you remapped any key bindings that could have doubled up the x?
good, we have been making a lot of progress lately. I have been updating all the scenes to swap out or remove ones that don't meet my current quality standards and continuing to improve scene props and materials. Seek & Destroy is making great progress with troop equipping at the same time.
I dont know what sounds 1417 uses, but the sound that gets played depends on the type of damage being dealt, the amount of damage being dealt, and the armor level of the damage recipient.
you can start your game as any of the existing rulers or lords in the game. there are a couple of father/son duos possible through that. are you suggesting something else though?
To my knowledge no, it had the river though which acted as a moat for a lot of the city. This model is showing Roman Lyon so it is different than during the time of DAC, but it is a good visualization of the terrain. The attackers are approaching from the back left of the picture.
thanks! combining props can be fun :)
also a lot of the surfaces you can see in this shot are in shadow because of the high sun angle during the screenshot time.
what kind of scene would you like to see for the next preview?
thanks! i have spent a lot of time and effort creating and iterating the look of the environments so it is nice to read this!
i don't speak cat, but i assume that you're asking when release will be. sorry, we dont know when it will be released.
not on purpose, just i didn't do it. good idea though, i'll add some
please relax and enjoy yourself in the meantime
to clarify asher's comment, we are working on a lot more than those two things- those are just what ashers focus is on currently. I am still making new scenes and improving many to get (hopefully) the whole world up to the standards being set in scene previews. seek is working on adding new items and distributing them to the reworked troop trees. there is also still a lot of polishing of new or modified props, lods, the new map, ect...
no problem to ask questions! it is fundamentally different than the DADG shader because the way the game engine creates the visuals is different between warband and bannerlord. However, dstn and I worked together to develop a new warband shader that approximates a more modern reflective look very successfully. It has been in the game and working well for a while now. we will preview it soon i hope.
we don't know either, sorry.
You can see an example on a great bascinet in the main picture for this page (on an effigy) En.m.wikipedia.org(helmet_decoration)
Cool, there are a couple custom quick battle scenes that I started or have ideas for so I will work on that next.
Paris has been completed for probably two years now but I have been waiting to show it until we have a release date. I'll think about another city to preview soon.
I don't get notifications from moddb but I have replied now
yes, a feature very similar to that has been added.
