More depth and intricacy than any RPG in recent memory a Very Enjoyable game.
Some help for other comments posted.
Symptom: Windows 7, >> Windows 8, game options settings lost with each start. Answer: Install the game in the My Documents folder. It's not a file permission bug it is a windows security feature. D/L only from the Microsoft site accept no substitutes all others are equally likely to be helpful as harmful.
Symptom: Almost immediate runtime error
Answer: Here are three possibilities. You need Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package and or Disable security run as ADMIN - google "How to run old games and software on windows 8?" DRM madness TAGES is conflicting with another customer DISTRUST and RESENTMENT MODULE. Cross your fingers say goodbye to high framerates while hoping your other games aren't borked then Install the latest version of TAGES.
Symptom: NPC's moving too quickly "flying" across the deck / towns.
Answer: The "R" key and Numpad plus and minus are the time modifier keys. (from half speed to 8X)
