Alright, my big comment with reaction!)

Played the game for several hours. And I will say that I am completely delighted! I'm not afraid to say - it's even BETTER than Carnivores 2. This mod has surpassed the original game itself. Usually in the original I just had fun, but here there is so much variety and interaction, a bunch of DIFFERENT dinosaurs - it's just gorgeous! I downloaded version 1.10 and you know, it's very exciting. In the first game I was attacked by a carnotaurus, and in the 4th game I was walking, I discovered a bridge over the river and walking next to it... A Tyrannosaurus Rex! And I only had a shotgun with me. I didn't expect such an unexpected surprise!)

I didn’t see the attacking Moschipop, but I saw everything, especially plesiosaurs, sea creatures, crocodiles and other themes. While I was walking I found the corpse of a mosasaurus on the beach in the north, which surprised me with my find))

I also can’t help but admire the fact that they made additional equipment and that the settings were prepared just what was needed. It is very convenient and comfortable to hunt for long walks while playing the game on an external drive))

The only thing I would add are more weapons, maps (preferably BIGGER ones so that more dinosaurs are present) and adjust the X-bow sight. I’m used to the fact that the top sight in the original game always hits the target, but here in this mod you have to think logically about how to shoot correctly. It's unusual to shoot into the blind spots of other dinosaurs, but in my opinion it improves the gameplay itself

And oh, in addition to dinosaurs, it would be cool to add additional options for the game. I mean, we have camouflage, radar and so on... What if we add, I don’t know, a special suit for protection from attack or immersion in water (otherwise why is there a hunter’s health scale when we swim?), where with the help used a special harpoon to kill a mosasaurus or creepy scorpions from a dark lake, were surprised by the beauty of the water world, and so on? Or also when we find an abandoned camp, where there were once hunters like us. We approach the box and receive replenishable stocks of weapons in order to continue the hunt.
I know there is a game mod for underwater hunting, BUT! In any mod, no matter Triassic or Far North, these additional equipment do not appear anywhere. The game is old, but based on how fashion has progressed and this Legacy masterpiece, we can only hope that these new items will come!

I wanted to give it a 9 out of 10 due to the lack of equipment options, but I decided to ignore this point, since this game is new to me and I’m having incredible fun.

P.S. I'm looking forward to the author making the same Legacy with the Ice Age part. I love the icy wastelands, the cold harsh world, the wind buzzing in my ears and ancient mammoths wandering through the snowy mountains. And add unusual creatures and sea creatures, impassable dangerous swamps and ice volcanoes

The first map is my favorite, but like the above, it's nice to add variety. More glacial, crystalline caves, echoing sounds with every movement, floating icebergs, possibly sea creatures, fogs, heavy snowfalls. There is already enough tundra, but mountains, snowy peaks and other various creatures would be welcome. I’ll at least agree to ancient snow basilisks or dragons, since the minotaurs turned out to be very suitable))

Found a problem with Wendigo. You forgot to add scripts for the death of the hunter after his attack. No wonder the game crashed due to your mistake. It’s a little ironic that an ordinary user corrects the mistakes of the author of this mod, despite the fact that in terms of scripts and programming I’m a real amateur. For now.I am silent about the fact that I spent half an hour searching for the source of the Yeti remake file, where you also forgot the SWIMMING animation! And had to make edits again
As for the rest, it is necessary to eliminate the crashes.

Yes, the game especially crashes when the wendigo kills me in Nidus Lake. Please fix this problem or tell me the correct creak of this creature

I carefully copied everything into a copy of the game and only the scripts cause problems. It's a pity that there is no installation guide here.

Plus:
- Variety of animals
- New interesting animals
- I was amazed by the minotaurs in the second map, they are rarely seen, but they are very cool! And damn hard to kill considering their mobility.
- I liked the pack of wolves! They are difficult to kill, but fun!
- A large herd of mammoths is simply a big prize for points. In fact, this is how it should be, because in Ice Age mammoths always went in a large herd

Minuses:
- The game constantly crashes. So you won’t have to enjoy a long hunt of 40 minutes. There was also a suspicion that in map 4 there was a constant crash sometimes when trying to find Vendingo.
Please fix this! I ran it through Windows 98 and only through it. Try to take the example of Carnivores Legacy, where it can be easily launched through Windows XP and there is also a variety of all sorts of creatures. And there it crashed for me once in a few hours of play

- Yeti can't swim, despite the fact that in Saurina Target's review this dude can swim. I tried to hunt the yeti in the second map and he was generally afraid to go down into the water.

I want download Carnivores 2, but cannot see core game. Only many files for DLCs, Triassic and etc

I love this add-on. As a huge lover of snow and glacial lands, icebergs and everything related to the Ice Age, this game caused great delight))

We were also pleased with the list of animals available for hunting. If in the Ice Age I was scared by the Yeti, now I will be afraid of wild boars, running very quickly (faster as f*ck BOIII) and terribly tapping their hooves.

The only thing was it was very unusual to adapt to some of the sounds. For example, wild dogs walk like those wolves from the original Ice Age. And every time I hear or scare, I start to strain that a wolf might attack from behind. I had to somehow adapt))

I am playing this add-on with great pleasure. And I hope that in the future the author will add interesting and new locations, animals / dino and some (possibly) ahahaha easter eggs. And - of course - MORE ICE AGE< EVERYWHERE MORE ICE AND SNOW WOOHOO!

I did not find any minuses anywhere, except that you can add snowflakes on a snow-covered hill and fog in snow pits, but I think the author has better ideas for the future)

One thing that really caught my eye is the cool background of the game. In the first video, I really liked the cold fog by the lake, added vegetation, the weather is a little cloudy - everything is as it should be like in a real ice age. When watching the first video, I got goosebumps, as if you were in a glacial, wild region.
Of the minuses - not a very good skin for a rhinoceros. It looks like an African rhino rather than a woolly one. It's sad that the mod was canceled, but for sure there will be someone who can do awesome

Now about Ice Age (my favourite part also!)

With the Ice Age, I had an installation question. I tried it a couple of times and it didn't work in every way. I am embarrassed to ask the author about this, but I have no one to ask the question

In general, according to the instructions, I tried to install version 1.0.2 for the Ice Age Beta game, since the description added support for the Ice Age. I tried to do it as in the instructions - in the menu all the animals were named as dinosaurs according to the original Predators 2.
Okay, I realized that I probably installed it additionally from the folder"Map Ambient Demo 2", so I tried other moments

I again made a copy of the original Ice Age game, decided to just push three folders into it and deleted the scripts associated specifically with the dino. So far nothing has found any changes
Added other scripts that are "before" the HUNTDAT folders and others.

Then he began to swear that the path to Audio was not found

Maybe I'm doing something wrong or installing or my game is so conflicting? What does this beta for Ice Age add?

After several attempts to carry out a little shamanism during the installation (I download Beta 1.0.1. for Carnivores 2), I launched the game and was delighted to see a swimming sea predator (he is ******* fast WOOH!), Allosaurus sniffs out while walking and that Brachiosaurus can really attack if you injure him and stay in close range

True, it's unusual that the jump is such a mini-second of delay. In the original, you can jump calmly like God ahahaha. I found everything, though so far without fish and birds.

And I also can't use the tilde to increase the resolution higher by 1920-1080. By the way, does anyone know how to expand the game to full screen?
