Not sure whether this picture is that well done but oh well, description helps:
Tax slider - for UE it doesn't matter whats your tax, your happiness and monetary income doesn't rise based to it.
You have several traits affecting to empire as shown in upper right corner.
Each system has 0 science production, this is because half of your money income rises your empires science production.
Right now left side techtrees is what I have done, it doesn't look that much but once you realize that there is 27-30 in other trees and that trees with those trait combos has 22 technologies and that different traits nearly quadruples that amount it's stunning.
Ok, it looks ugly (will be fixed) but this picture alone shows up to 80 different technologies (there is requirement of different traits to open these)
Notice the Giant Planetoid planet in picture... it's completly new planet for people who likes to live in Lava and Barren.
I have also added ability to terraform planets to better suited to race.
