I've been an avid Tribes fan since tribes1. Tribes2 has an element which I find considerably lacking in current FPS games (well 3 main elements): 1.) True strategy: because the bases are so far apart and due to game design you can actually plan a full arial assault, bombing run, attack on foot, or setup a perimiter of defensive placements. 2.)Flight: Okay, not as big but you can jet pack around shooting and dodging enemies, this is my favorite part since I truely enjoy a good gun fight (esp. the air factor.) 3.) Low lag/good lag compensation: I can say from my time playing this game that even if you ahve a dial-up connection you can still fully enjoy Tribes2 and all aspects of it without insane pings or choppiness (and it's even better for broadband, with pings avg between 150 slowest-70fastest.)
