Well, it's time for an update! Heath music has been very, very busy and, consequently, so have I, Half-Rats...On our agenda? Finishing up the Verloren soundtrack and eventually mastering everything for an OST, which has us very excited! The new footstep samples are complete and there remains only one song left to finish. I decided to pool Heath Music assets together for it, thinking of how lovely it would to have all of us on the last track. Alex was finally able to implement his actual skill as a percussionist and get behind an organic kit for this one! Matt's guitar tracks have yet to be compounded or recorded, but I can't wait to see what he has for me. Aside from that, I composed an Ennio Morricone-inspired western-themed track (mouthful, eh?) as a demo submission for an indie game currently under development. The Devs were seeking composer and a sound designer - I sought both positions. Here's to hoping that does well! Owing to deadlines and time constraints for the submission, I had to take the minimal guitar work upon myself. Wait, there's more! I recently composed the main theme for "The Collector", a Source-based Multiplayer modification for Half-Life 2 which is currently under development. And yet MORE! Matt and I are tackling the title track for a singleplayer Half-Life 2 mod called "Sleepless". Now that one's been delayed quite a bit due to life getting in the way, other projects and, well, technical difficulties involving clocks... and not those kind of clocks!

And, for the finale? Well, let's just say that Clockwork Mind is thinking of bringing an old project back from hiatus and I'd be remiss if I didn't sign up. One word: Ironhold. Prepare for unforeseen consequences.

By the way, I took some rather interesting photographs of our workspace. They're right here...or...on our Facebook page...Yes, that's right, we have a Facebook page now!
