7 months after Megatron died, Soundwave sent 2 Decepticons to search for the remnants of the Allspark and Megatron's corpse. They were Crusade and Sunshot. Crusade was successfully managed to land safely and destroyed a weapons facility in Siberia. Feeling annoyed, the Autobots went to stop him to made another destruction on Earth. Crusade did not surprised; He prepared already to crush any Autobots who came in his way.
5 weeks have passed and Crusade is still a target. He destroyed 2 Autobots at the Arctic Circle in an ambush. Though he was injured in combat, he was still able to carry on the mission. He was then ordered to go to Hawaiian Islands to continue the mission. He used his tank's hover ability to move across the ocean. But suddenly he was ambushed with two flying Autobots in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. They were Breakaway and Springer. Crusade don't have any AA weapons in his alternate mode, and he can't transform into robot mode in the middle of the ocean. He was a sitting duck. The two autobots easily destroyed Crusade with their missiles and bombs, and Crusade was finally died, resting on the bottom of the Pacific Ocean...
