Description
Leonard "Kit" Carson, the leading ace of the Yoxford Boys, scores one of three victories during the air battle of January 14, 1945. The 357th FG scored 57 1/2 victories that day, a USAF record that still stands. Three 357th pilots were lost on the mission.
