I'm just helping the community that formed around this mod.

- TVP video maker (Tiberium Video Production)
- TE-Map builder
- TEF manager (TEF=Tiberium Essence Fans)
it's odd that the EMP center did not work. i have not encountered that bug yet.
maybe a 1 or 2 things that can work VS the direct3D error. (out of memory)
thanks to Vancer2 i got the info for that. (we have been searching together for a solution) Moddb.com
download this (.big opener) Commandandconquer.gamefront.com
then go to the TiberiumEssence.big (make a copy of it 1st before going on, it would be a shame if it makes errors in your game)
and remove: the FXSHADER file inside of it.
by that the game suppose to function properly without errors anymore.
I tried but it is still crashing for my friend. He has Nvidia 460 GTX, I have AMD 5770 GPU. Is there anything else we can do ? It seems lots of players do not have these crashes. We both have up to date Win7 64bit computers.
it's only still crashing for your friend? there are more issues with Nvdia-cards.
I got a small question for you and your friend: does the game also crash if you play vanilla? (just normal C&C TW)
If not, does your friend got a folder "DirectX" in his "My Documents\C&C3"? if so i maybe got a solution.
Vanilla is not crashing. We just had two long games on the same map TE is crashing within 5 minutes.
Me and my friend have DirectX folder (with the old 2007 DirectX setup files) in the games install directory.
Absolutly fantastic. I tried a map were it crash constantly in the first 5 minutes and could play the skirmish to the end ! Thanks a lot.
Perhaps 1.52 should get rid of this file.
Btw I'm new to the mod and found that EMP ability from the neutral EMP center did not work. GDI vehicles in circle could still attack.
