Never has, and never will be. TS is just a ripoff :/
there was AQ2, then AHL, then AUT99 (which was not released), then AUT2k4, and now there's AHL2. Ts does not fit in the picture of 'Action' mods :P
Maps, gun models, dive animations, bugfixes :P
That's cos we did. Next release(s) will contain new stuff and new features (like the dives).
There will be additions to the dives, you can also post suggestions on www.ministryofaction.net :)
Thanks for the compliments. Obviously there will be new models/maps/textures in future releases. It's just that the team wanted to release and there was no real dedicated modeller present ;)
As for maps, there are some new maps in progress and also some remakes of old ahl1 maps (bananamans, bankdoom, etc.)
Check the forums over at www.ministryofaction.net for more information :)
izzysinz: Well, obviously there is only two influences this mod has had: Action HL 1, and before that AQ2.
Anyway, yea, the bleeding can be annoying, but it does give the mod more balance. And it's been part of action since day 1. Ofcourse it does still need tweaking, as does the entire mod ;)
Shyguy: Cut the complaints. There will NOT be a rar, go ask your dad to install the game.
This is action halflife, like the name says: it has nothing to do with RP...
Look, stop begging for a Zip, there isn't gonna be one, ask daddy to install it.
Not really. The only member of the team that left to be part of the CS team was Gooseman.
After that, the A-Team made AHL, which was about as succesfull as CS, before Valve broke the code with a patch. It took a year to rebuild the mod, and by then CS had a massive playerbase.
wazanator:
The bleeding is a part of AHL...
To get up from dives, you can use the jump key aswell, for now it's got to be pressed twice though, and it takes a little long to get up. Next releases will see a lot of changes in the dives.
And if you get stuck with a rifle and a nade, try throwing your knives ;)
Lol, if you can't take a joke, then you shouldn't play games. This mod is here to stay, and tbh, i couldn't care less if you play or not.
That might be, cos some of the models are just ported AHL1 models. Next release will have loads of new content.
It's an action mod, just like it's predecessor: Action Halflife, and before that, Action Quake2.
Yes, this is only the start.
There will be more releases (obviously), with new features, new maps, animations, etc.
All we can say is: soon, not 'when it's done', but soon...VERY VERY soon actually..... as in... within days...
The code for the forums can be found here:
ministryofaction.net/ahl2/credits.html
It appears that Hondo and Banana have disappeared :/
There might be a couple of remakes of other maps though.
If anyone has played AHL and liked it, you will surely like AHL2 =)
