Из стима не запустилось, через ярлык с параметром -game и пути до папки заработало. Что вроде как указывает на то что это баг стима, наверно.

About those teleportation and mirror things. Did you implemented worldportals from Portal 2? Or it's just looks like them, and those just portal and mirrors?

I think they maybe moving to Xash3D because this can provide 3d backgrounds, custom game menu and some room for hardcoding some other stuff into mod. And as result moving from Steam.
