Your generic level designer, animator, modeller and programmer. I dislike butt kissers and decievous idiots, but otherwise I'm a nice guy. Feel free to ask me on programming issues, programming is my specialty.

Being a Half-Life modder for 6 years now, I'm quite shocked to see how the community has been completely parodized by a group of popular modders who are exploiting and betraying the actual talented people. Popular is the main factor here. This group doesn't want to make actual, talented, original work, but just spew something pretty out with awesome graphics to amaze the masses and gain popularity, and they do this even by the most disgusting means. One of these so-called mods is the Heart of Evil : Napalm Edition mod, wich was devised by an incompetent, talentless mod leader. I don't have anything against the actual developers of this modification, but it's incompetent leader.
You may ask, who am I talking about? Well, I have nothing to hide. I'm talking about Half-Life Creations, a group of modders that I spent some time with. This time was a sequence of rather uncomfortable relationships with certain people. I'm not generalizing, not all of the mod developers there are worthless, but some of them have managed to sink to the bottom of humanity.
Why am I writing this? Because I want to expose these pitiful liars, stealers and deceivers to the public, of what they've done, how they're capable of going as far as trying to steal someone's hard work behind their backs when they know they can't get it. I found out about another attempt recently, and this broke the limit, but I made a promise not to plunge the person into this.
I first joined Half-Life Creations as a newbie modder, working on the modification called Raven City, wich eventually died with a horrible death scream. I'll tell how this happened. I had befriended the developer of the Arrangement mod, back then it was called Arrange Mode. His mod later became more and more popular, and soon he joined the Half-Life Creations community, and since back then we were friends, I had started posting there too. Soon, as my programming skills evolved, I began implementing more and more eye candy into my game, with wich I was hoping to enhance the "feel" of the game. However, this attracted the uncomfortable attention of certain parasites, one of them was a modder in the HLC community by the name of D3ads. At first, it wasn't obvious that he was only interested in getting the code, but over time it came to me that his behaviour was nothing more than butt-licking, and mostly on the lowest human level.
This is the time by wich my my "friend" offered the Half-Life Creations admin, and the mod leader of the Heart of Evil : Napalm Edition mod his help, but since he couldn't get the work done, he asked me to help. I decided to help. However, I quickly regretted this, as I got a tyrant on my back. Editor-321, the mod leader proved to be an incompetent and impatient person who had no idea of development time, and after I had enough of him pushing me on the work, I implemented my unfinished code into their codebase and passed it down to my friend, who then never managed to finish it. Of course, I later told him to buzz off, as I had enough of his agressive tactics and dumb behaviour. Later, we got into a fight with this person, and I decided to tell the public of his butt-kissing and dumb behaviour to the public. This topic got deleted completely.
Later, I began work on the graphics engine for Arrangement. I had attracted the attention of the modder Minuit, who was interested in using it in his mod, Cry of Fear. I was willing to do share it, knowing that he was a respected modder, but my opinion soon changed, as I had to find out that he tried to get access to the files of Raven City behind my back. So, I dumped him too. This is when another troll appeared on the spot, the long-gone butt-licker D3ads. He tried using Raven City to get to me, but I finally announced that the code won't be open-sourced. For some reason though, my "friend" began playing with me, pretending to treat me as a mod member, I even worked on Arrangement's more complicated code, until I was finished with the graphics engine, and then he used the very first obstacle to dump the whole thing. His reasons were actually understandable, but later it was revealed that he never intended on using the renderers, and he only ever credited me as a third party supporter, while in fact I worked on code for Arrangement. He failed to give proper credit to me, and I had to realise that the only reason he ever advertised the graphics engine on the forums was to get attention, and to use me in his coding endavours. I became much more talented at programming than he ever was, and he was hoping to use me for the more complicated work, wich I could easily do, and did some of it actually. I regretted this.
There's another part of the story here, wich motivated me to write this blog, but I made a promise that I won't include that person in my own issues.
So, this is how it happened, and these are the people who have sunken below the minimum.

You mod seems to have been archived, you should fix that.
Hehe. It's archived on purpose, it kinda died. I had enough of posting news updates on it's death, and this time it's final.
you could have released what youve got =P.
I did not want to. What was done wasn't what I had imagined, it would've made little sense on it's own. Plus, there was still so much left to do to make the game actually playable. I didn't want to do anything with it again either, I didn't want to fall into the same deep pit... twice.
nice mod
