The installer gives you an option to either let it do it for you or let you do it yourself IF you know what you are doing. You clearly disregarded the option and are clearly not a power user so why you chose to do it manually is beyond comprehension. You have to delete your GTAIV save games since the game will crash if you don't. That is not a problem that can be fixed.

Giving the mod a "1" review because you've either downloaded from an unofficial source or your anti-virus sucks? Wonderful. Do you really think we'd upload a virus? Furthermore, if our mod was infected, do you seriously think we'd be featured on ModDB and not have a influx of comments complaining about viruses? It just doesn't make any sense.

If your anti-virus says IVSA has a virus, you have a **** anti-virus. Uninstall it and install something better such as Microsoft Security Essentials. Windows.microsoft.com

We are proud to announce that a DEMO version of the Grand Theft Auto III RAGE Classic project, led by Garju67, will be released on August 8th exclusively through the EFLC version of GTA IV: San Andreas BETA 3 Add-ons system. This is only the beginning of things to come via our add-ons system!

We will add what we can with what tools, time, knowledge and man power we have. As we've stated numerous times, we do not have the proper tools to add all of the missions, character dialog and character customization. Most of the tools that are currently available very primitive and as such will not easily allow us to do those things on a grand scale.

You may just be ending up in games with GTAIV players. As soon as you join a server, ask if they are playing IVSA. If not, back out of the session ASAP. Currently, there's no way for us separate IVSA players from GTAIV players.

Disable your anti-virus or uninstall your current one and get a better one such as Microsoft Security Essentials. It's not deleting a virus, it's deleting critical game files.

Try reinstalling your GTA game or download from another source.

EFLC is the best version as it has some extras the IV version doesn't have.

The first patch is now live, featuring the text files and other updates/fixes. To update, go to the add-ons tab in the launcher and update your GTA IV: San Andreas.

You need to let the installer move your save games like it asks you. Should be in "C:\Users\[YOURUSERNAME]\AppData\Local\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames"

Do you have some kind of instant messenger such as MSN, Skype or GTalk?

Would you be willing to allow us to remote connect to your computer to verify a couple of things?

Did you select the "Copy my existing GTA folder and prepare the copy." option at setup?

Did you have the installer copy your game files?

To clarify, are you launching via the "IVSALauncher.exe"? Which game do you have it installed on, IV or EFLC? Did you have Beta 2 installed?

Where did you get the installer from? Your download is probably damaged. Try redownloading it and validate its integrity using the hashes on the download page:
