Hmmm odd. Make sure that your autoupdater is put into your CoH main folder.

It might be an internet thing on your end. Either the autoupdater finds the file list, or fails b/c it's not placed in the right spot. (or there's a server error)

Either way it will tell you. Ive never seen the updater hang while finding the list before.

You must register your Relic game name to the website (your fourm name)

There should be a big "Register New Player" button on the right side of the login screen.

For right now, it's just the Normandy campaign, but the idea is that eventually we'll be able to cycle through different map layouts and fronts/campaigns to keep content renewable and interesting.

Tiger205, just wanted to let you know that your work is appreciated in the CoH community.

You are the only modder that i have seen create a Maus, something the community has been asking for forever but no one was willing to deliver.

Keep up the good work! Hope you keep releasing your custom models like the Elephant!

I put something in the technical fourms. Someone important will eventually look at it and we'll get this fixed asap.

Edit 1- Had a dev send confirmation emails manually. Also anyone else who is having problems needs to sift through their spam box or something cause the emails are getting sent out.

Your in game company is recorded on the EIR server and we use the fourms to link every COH profile to 1 profile on the fourms so you cannot smurf and the system can record whatever gains your company makes during a game.

Ill look into this. Keep trying, it might be a router thing or an internet connection thing on your end. I know we have problems with multiple people on the same ISP. maybe try email addresses that arnt forwarded to a different account.

Then dont watch.

Is the autoupdater in your CoH main folder?

If its not that, then im not sure. That kinda problem usually happens when the server is down then no one is playing at all.

The one linked to the EIRR website isnt properly updated and will be fixed soon.

Post back if you still have the same problem. It might also be a server hiccup.

Either try it with another email address or download vent and come into the vent server so you can get some personal help.

Many of your problems are circumvented by joining the ventrilo server.

Also, depending on when you last played Europe in ruins, the disparity between veteran/new unit power has been drastically reduced.

If you played only recently, then it might just all be in your head.

Its only multiplayer, online.

Not at the moment, but eventually we will be implementing a "warmap" to play on.

Im not sure exactly how its going to work, but it should be something like "galactic conquest" where you get to pick and choose the territories you want to take over.

yes, its an online mod.

you can only play EIRR within the EIRR community tho. (only other ppl with the mod)

but we usually have around 30-40 ppl on looking for games at peak hours, so youll have no problem finding someone to play with.

Try to run the autoupdater on "administrator"

just move the autoupdater to your coh main directory.

yes, 1vs1s are only test games. You only get a fraction of the exp and level gain you would get in a 2vs2 because you can get a buddy and just buildup an army of vet with no risk.

Come play 2vs2s :)

Strafeing runs and artilary are unlocked via your company's doctrine. When you get enough PPs, go unlock the ability and you can use it ingame.

Also, Support points are the points needed to buy more abilities like strafing run. They also are used to upgrade your vet.

you can buy these points in the company screen. 20 SP for 10 PP.

Yes, this works with ToV.

You only need to put the auto updater into the CoH main directory, not the TOVCoH folder.

Everything that needs to be downloaded goes here.

C:\Programfiles\THQ\CompanyofHeroes

Shortcut the auto updater to your desktop and launch it. Everything for the mod should download through the updater then.

Try again, sometimes the website craps out for a second. Keep trying, everything should still be working.
