I think that you should forget about the animated menu altogether and concentrate on gameplay and story. The menu is fine as it is right now, and personally, I don`t really want to have to wait 2-3 seconds for the menu dialog to slide into place. Most players will want to jump directly into battle. Yes it will be nice to watch once or twice, but after the third time you enter the game you`ll forget all about it. Anyway, good job - it looks good and it`s interesting; I just think that it`s a waste of time.
