Nah, this is not a bug. This only means you either didnt install the mod at all or installed it incorrectly. So, first download and install the complete mod, and THEN install the patch. Then it ll work ;)

Try redownloading the patch. It should work then!

They are not invincible, but invisible. That is an error which happens when you dont install the mod correctly. First install the main mod download, and after that the patch 4. Then it will work.

IF you still get problems, then try adding the dmcr.exe into your antivirus program exceptions and then it will work.

THere is no virus, you just need to do that.

Nothing at the moment, only a small patch for the bugs and a little multiplayer death match gameplay upgrade will be released next month

You have an issue with the antivirus program deleting it, I will upload a substition DMCR.exe for all thoes who have such a problem.

No additions to the USA cavalry since the USA as a nation in HEW mod is just a bonus nations (together with Italy, Turkey, Sweden).
No, no enlarged trees will be added since more than 100 maps were built for HEW using a ceartin array of trees, and changing even a few of them would ruin the look and the feel all the map makers were aiming for. The enlarged trees can be seen and used in EW2.

Please try downloading using a download manager, and try to exclude a ceartin folder to wich you are downloading from the antivir protection OR try to disable it while downloading.

All the Ai are corrupted, so you cant play against any nations except France. Only France has a functional Ai. SO set your PC controlled enemys to french.

Thank you for commenting, but not Spain nor Portugal were mayor contenders in the seven years war. They both enterd the war at its end. Thought they might be added in a possible expansion to ew2.

You can fix this by a small file that automaticly ENDs explorer.exe and when you finish the game it automaticly starts back explorer.exe.

This file can be downloaded on our forum, and will be included in the next patch. It is called dmcr.bat, and you will need to start that instead of regular dmcr.exe
