I can't say it bothers me at all, sure it would have been really nice to get facial expressions it is not something that breaks the project.

Plus if it is getting frustrating or just not working there is no point in ramming your head against it. In the future it may be more plausible but I think you are taking the better route by focusing on what you can do.

After all you can always keep building! However you need to have a base out there first. Thankyou for keeping us all updated! I truly appreciate all the work you put in!

I too would like to see this released in increments, I made a post regarding that on the main page as well though heh.

I only say that because it seems to give smaller goals to accomplish and heck I want to see twilight in game soon.

The idea of a quest and voice sounds very very cool, and a Equestria would be very cool as well. Looking forward to what you make.

I joined this site just to tell you I am very excited for this mod. I would suggest taking it in small steps though because it sounds like you certainly have big plans!

It's usually good to release some things in increments because it lets you feel pieces are falling together. So perhaps release a variation of the mod with Twilight as a companion without having all the versatility of speech and a quest and just make her usable.

Then worry about really messing with her personality and then create a quest to go with it. That's just a recommendation of course but one I would love to see!
