Description
Decided to add navies to our IDF mod! This is one of the new boats for the Israeli Navy. This is a Sa'ar 1 gunboat with three 40mm canons. We will also add the Sa'ar 2 and 3 versions which were missile boats. Very interesting story of how these boats got to Israel.
They were designed in Germany but built in France. The ships were built and paid for but because of the French arms embargo were not delivered to Israel. The Israeli Navy developed a deception plan to take the boats back to Israel where they played a critical role in the 1973 war.
