Here is our new IDF M38A1/CJ-5 1/4 ton 4x4 jeep! We have the Siyur Reconnaissance version and Tolar recoilless rifle version. The history of Israeli jeeps goes back 1948 war when many surplus WW2 jeeps where used. Many mounted with multiple machine guns similar to the SAS jeeps used in WW2 in the North African campaign. In the early 1950s CJ-3 and CJ-5 jeeps where manufactured in Israel for import and domestic sales. The IDF was a major user of the CJ-5/M38A1 jeeps and they served in all of the Arab-Israeli wars.
