i would suggest a little bit more research on the japanese architecture, since there's a lot of elements that don't make sense and that look different in japanese architecture... google for shindenzukuri, shoinzukuri etc... ;)
other than that, i love what i'm seeing!

wow, awesome work on the physics and the game idea. i luv it!
but the overall game art seems a little bit weak. there could be a more consistent style (?) the character's are great, i also love the onomatopoetica, but the elements of the world don't seem to harmonize yet...
