Ok so i have the same problem as many of you above. Now, i think all of us that got it wrong should find out what we have in common.

1. I have SW GOLD PACK - so that means i installed EAW from there. Do you guys have gold pack also?

2. I tried everything like 5 times.. uninstall everything, install again, copy the mod files.

3. When SW EAW is installed - C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Empire at War

i put stargate like instructed here:

C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Empire at War\GameData\Mods

+ some files were added to C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Empire at War\GameData\DATA folder

4. I do have net framework 3.5 installed

5. Running on Windows XP SP3

6. If i start stargate.bat, the game starts, but a normal game, not stargate mod

7. I tried to replace the original DATA files with the ones from stargate data folder. If i run EAW then, the STARGATE screen actually shows up, but it freezes there before even getting to the main menu.

8. Does german version have same problems?

So, i think we all got installing steps right. I'm just curious if all people that didnt get it work have GOLD version installed. Could that be the case?
