Yes Awesome_ninja is right: we're using our own engine ("Spark"), not Source.

Thanks so much for the support guys. It means a LOT to us. We spent a lot of time working on the original NS mod and to be able to make it a sustainable, commercial venture, as well as to be able to give something back to the mod community is a dream come true.

We actually don't know if we will be able to link our own pre-orders to Steam copies. I've heard some other games are doing this though so I'm inquiring with Valve about it now.

Yep we have great physics. We have both Bullet and PhysX implemented (we'll probably ship with the latter).

The game will not be free - we'll sell it for around $20-30 I think. We'll sell it from our website (http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2), through Steam and some other portals too.

I know it's been awhile, but we'll have something to announce re: NS on Source soon. Big things are afoot. :)
