My name, as one might guess is Kriss and at the moment I am 17 years old. Quite passionate for all things visual, and if digital - even more! Been using Blender for 2 years now, learning something new every two days. I'm also into poster design (via Inkscape and Photoshop) and a bit of street-art (via posters) as well.. :P Don't be a stranger..

Also,did some research and tested out how it is printing at a professional place, so now I have some experience about printing color posters (You know, all those resolutions, color spaces, paper types etc.) And I must say, that the quality of printing is awesome.. (made 3 copies, 2 for school 1 for myself..) :D
Tried to copy the style of OBEY's Obama poster. (I do NOT support copying others style, but yeah, I jokingly made this in that style)
I really like it, turned out pretty good!
Can you give me some informations about printing?
I think about painting some pictures for a friend and print it out for a present :D

As for printing :
Work in CMYK color space which is the space printers work in (converting might change some colors, it didnt do that for me, but thats because mine matched in sRGB space, which is default)
As for resolutions, nothing much to say, but printing needs a high res image.. When exporting vectors or painting stuff, select resolution - I recommend 600DPI which is pretty high.
As for papers, when I printed A4 I chose 220g/m^2 paper, which seemed quite good for a poster.
I have printed only solid color stuff, so I dont know how well they work with gradients etc. though if you print at a profesional place I think its no problem..
