It seems like the maps and era of the demo is not included in the beta, can I run the beta and demo at the same time?

I have this bug where the selected weapons (which is usually shown in the down left corner) are shown in the middle of the screen and is amplyfied, so that it blocks most of your view. Any idea whats causing this?
