lets say I am making a mod for Half Life 2 and i need a new story line, something that has not been done before :

first we need a title - we will called this one   The Deadly Code.

The Story - In 12 action chapters Freeman battles a conbine warlord to save a rebel base from being overun - the story start with a series of attacks ( train blast, bank attack, flood ) it cuts to freeman driving to the rebel base ( make this after HL2 es3 )

1 Freeman take over
freeman drive to the base and gets a briefing , he head for a town and look around , finding a person  who gives him a clue to who the warlord is , after a firefight with the conbine a chase lead to a shack in the woods  , as Freeman walk to the shack and enter ( quick cut to the conbine coming up behind  him ) as the firefight begin with Freeman trapped in the shack  - a cobine time bomb is ticking away as freeman backs to the door it cuts to outside where the shack goes Boom - how did freeman escape ?
2 hidden danger
freeman see a back door and escape into the woods  he hears the shack blow up and follow a path back to the clearing by now the conbine are gone thinking freeman is dead . freeman heads to the base . when he gets there he hears that a conbine agent is inside - he goes inside to look for the agent and talk to a rebel that sees him going into the computer room, he heads for the computer room as he turns into the hallway a firefight breaks out the agent runs into the computer room Freeman follows crossing a tripwire starts a fire . the fire close in on freeman  ( will freeman escape ! )

4 Tunnel of terror
5 deady fog
6 the warlord stike back
7 caves of horror
8 ambush
9 the master plan
10 the deadly trap
11 take off that mask
12  warlord end

i alway love the serials  - and HL2  storyline would  work - just a idea!!!
