OK, for some reason, setting the game to "low" lets me get though the Pripyat tunnel. Once I'm in Pripyat, I can use my previous settings.
The game is now crashing part-way though the helicopter evacuation cut-scene. Changing the game's setting doesn't seem to be able to fix it.
Is anyone else able to load Pripyat? I crash a few seconds after the Pripyat loading image appears. I've tried setting textures and grass down to the minimum, but it still crashes. Log says "The thread tried to read from or write to a virtual address for which it does not have the appropriate access"
Not so sure about the claim that the gameplay wasn't changed. I've spotted plenty of cut monsters roaming about, including goddamned rats, which keep attacking me while I'm in a cutscene.
That's all well and good, but the bug still exists in my copy. As I said, I've already tried starting a new game and I'm using the newest version of the mod. What else can I try?
What do you suggest? I've installed the new version of the mod, but the guy just stands there pointing his gun at the wall as he did in the previous version but not the first version of the mod.
The new version of the mod still has the same bloodsuckers lair bug, at least it does for me. I've tried starting a new game, but that didn't help.
Anyone else having issues with the game freezing during emissions?
I'm having an issue during emissions. When the first electrical bolt strikes the game freezes.
I'm using the Steam version with the latest update.
I'm having the same issue. I seem to recall being able to do this mission on the older version of this mod.

Call me crazy, but I thought this was suppose to be coming out 1st May! If it has been released early, where did the downloads section go?
So what's going to be new in this mod compared to Enhanced Environment? I just downloaded that mod and the stock unfolding animation makes my pantaloons tingle (even of the length of the animation often results in my death).
Will it be compatible with saves made with Enhanced Environment installed, or will I need to start a new games again?
