Download manager can be helpful. I find 'Free Download Manager' to be handy.

I notice on mine that it shows the version in small text in the bottom-right corner of the screen in the initial menu ... also, you can look at the name of the mods folder, in your 'My Documents\My Games\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion\Mods-Rebellion v1.83' ... the version is in the name of the 'Mods-Rebellion vX.xx' folder.

Is it the Steam 1.82/1.83 you are using? I'd love to find a way to get the 1.82 version, I got the 1.83 GOG version, and as far as I can tell there's no way to get the 1.82 from them; they say they were only provided with the 1.83 version.

Thanks for clarifying that. Yes, I have the 1.83 version as well, also obtained from gog.com, and it crashes as soon as I try to load it with the mod enabled. Crashes on the splash screen.

I ran the Dev version and the last debug message I got was:

Failed to Read File 'C:\Users\Owner\Documents\My Games\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion\Mods-Rebellion v1.83 Dev \star-trek-armada-3 \GameInfo\PlayerBajoran.entity' . desired read bytes = 7274572, actual read bytes = 1970.

Which is funny, because the actual size of that file on my system is 33,597 bytes.

It would be helpful if the required version would be listed in the install instructions above.
