We're sorry, but no blog posts were found here. Boring yes, but as confucius always said - if you have nothing good to say, why say anything at all? Check back later, perhaps something exciting will pop-up and be worth blogging about, like season 3 of the teletubbies.
Speak your mind, rant about games, mods and the development scene, it's simple and who knows maybe someone will read it and agree. It will feel right!

I'm working on a project of my involving generation of natural looking terrain and had a couple questions:
First of all, what renderer are you using? I'm using OpenGL, but it doesn't seem very efficient. Maybe you have some suggestions as to what could make my program operate more smoothly?
Second, the site mentions there is vegetation. Is the vegetation stationary, or does it grow/expand/etc?
Finally, how did you accomplish terrain storage in a spherical shape? I'm using a 2-dimensional array to represent just a flat, heightmapped style of terrain, but always wondered how you'd go about doing such a thing in spherical coordinates.
Thanks for you time, I really appreciate any input I can get that'll make me a better programmer.
