I am just waiting for some mod that gives F function (second mode) to buildings.
Like in Generals where alied powerplant could +25% permanently and chinese could get +50% but for cost of HP.
Something like this.(i dont know if it is posible with this game engine)

could it be caused by altering their starting units?
If not is it possible to make a faction exactly like for example romans but with better starting units (for the AI) so they stop making auxilary infntry from all their starting units? or at least gives me some chalange without requiring having all 7 against me? i always wanted an (at least AI) friend :D

after playing a bit as mongols i found out that seting AI as either forgotten legion or mongols crashes the game for me. It doesnt if i have them.

mod looks good but slight problem for the forgotten legion it seems fine not to have eagle scouts becuse you start with 3 and it could be quite a chalange keeping them alive. But change it so the legion doesnt start with spearman if they can not recruit them and enable the hawk scout for the mongolian race. Also if possible add a doctor at the start for the forgoton legion.

Roman heroes will probably newer come back in their first form as they were cavalery which could go basicaly anywhere had a ton of HP (and armor) were wery fast , could atack buildings- wery quickly destroy them and were practicaly impossible to destroy if you managed to get 2 units of them and a healer nerby. Their smaller variant isn the new centurion (basicaly 1 of them instead of 12) and even he had to be severaly nerfed or he would just destroy legions on his own and a lvl 1 still can kill a whole auxilary infantry unit ( if they do not throw spears)

Hi its me.
After about a hour of testing i foun dout 3 things.
1)Longbowman do not have stationary pozition (do not know if possible to add) and fire further than they can see( interesting mechanic but mabye more vision ?)
2)The faraon guard seem too fragile (mabye just used it bad)
3)IMPORTANT: The greeks still require population

And personal question: What are the Hypaspists (greek) good at it seem that even normal legionaries are beter

they realy were now the normal centurion has some of their specifics. He is wery strong and resilient to mele damage but can be killed by just few arrows.This is usefull for ambushes inside woods or shock atacks. To get enought population for making them just recruit 4-5 scouts as that will fill the bar for UCP quickly and allow you to promote up to 5 centurions.

You probably have to delete the folders with same name as the UCP/TCP mod has.

is it possible to like demote each unit into something else ? so you could like demote the praeatorians into elite legionariesbut there would be only 16 of them so for full unit you had to combine two units of praeatorians ? or something like that
Also you sped up the arrows in your new release i think it is good but probably bit too fast scale it down only a little

But i thought about them like that you can not recruit them in some small vilage somewhere in gaul so you have to "import" them from rome. This is costly (3-4 honour points) but doesnt require any vilagers. This would allow the player to have rather good soldiers even after any other player would run out of vilagers to make soldiers from. But during recruitation the population doesnt replenish so it is rather balanced i think.

Hi i have only one complaint.
Could you posibly make it so that units require the vilager again and only the elite legionaries do not but instead cost like 3 Honour points and are trained after 150 seconds ?

It isnt actualy that great it only works against stupid AI and only on some maps. Against a human player it will not be that great.

that is true but from my experience the best thing against heavy troops is either siege equipement paired with stationary pikemen and archers. My tactics can be oposed by only one thing enemy archer superiority or siege equipement.
Also even single tower with nubian archers is more than capable of destroying large ammounts of heavy units because the poison goes trought their defences this can be solved by you guesed it siege equipement or archers.
AI making only heavy troops isnt bad but it allowes for easy killboxes - for example the river arar map - there is a lot of ridges and the only way AI can get there is trought a river - where heavy troops can not go or over bridge. But behind the bridge is a forres behind water - you can put here unlimited ammounts of archers and even turtle formation doesnt sand a chance if you pair it with one or 2 catapults or balistas.

so if you loose them you can not get them back ??
if so great if they are just normal officer than :( but whatever.
I know it might not be so interesting but i suggest you to pay more attention to AI atacks and defence.
Currently AI rcruits only heavy troops. that is great against normal armies but if i build around 3-4 towers or put spearman (siting) on a hilltop with archers behind them AI doesnt have enought archers to counter.
ALso i feel like the original AI was building towers to protect its vilage and catapults to atack yours could you bring that behaviour back ??

well that should be balanced 4-5 arrows is probably good ammount considering that the archers do not shoot voleys at him but rather 5 or 6 of them concentrate their fire on him whilst the rest continues normal shooting.
This way the heroes could deflect quick cavalery atacks and even lead their ovn atack on enemy from behind while not being too good inside of battle two huge armies

That is right but i dont know if you can set it so he dies quickly from the arrows but still has like 10000 HP against mele fighters.

that is imposible because the heroes can not atack the buildings or siege equipement directly and i would leave it like that.
Alos do not owerpower it too much.
A single centurion on lvl 5 (max) should still not be capable of killing 30 legionaires. 30 auxilary infantry mabye but heavy units? never

oh and also would you mind making support for the mod imperial 7.0 or at least inputing siege equipement for the other races (rashiduns , greeks, ...)?
I made some siege equipment myself using texture of the roman equipement but siege towers crash the game when units go up them. could you help me somehow?

lots of them have vilages vith 3000 + population so if you want big battles this play on these maps.
