there is a limit to what they spawn, you can easily adjust by going to campaign script for the 1207 and find mongol invasion script and just lighten the amount of troops they get per spawn. But they are meant to be a pita and a struggle for survival...

Glad you enjoy the mod also it needs some work but I'll need to get motivated to fix some fairly easy game mechanics

my bad, ya hotseat will be different because the campaign is in custom folder now for 1207. So when you're doing hotseat now it takes the data from the early campaign instead of custom. you can try and copy all material from the data/world/maps/campaign/custom/high_era_campaign
then paste into the imperial campaign and see if that works.
the logos will still be in wrong spots for campaign selection but atlest it may get you into the hotseat campaign.

I just tried my suggestion for hotseat and it worked fine so you should be good.
Also I'd suggest you try medium campaign difficulty 1st and move up from there if need.

no offense but, you must be doing something wrong.
1-Make sure to download 1207 6.2 standalone, and put in the mods folder
2-apply large address aware to MEDM 1207 application
3-start mod choose 1207 campaign
4-select campaign, click here for the 1207 campaign

It works with the proper placement of faction logos at the beginning and also doesn't crash. others have verified as well.
Let me know thanks for trying mod.

apply the large address aware to the actual mods application, the one within the mod folder. Enjoy!

actually, it should still start without applying large address aware, it just prevents crashes during the game. If the game doesn't start using the launcher try downloading the bat file

Moddb.com

and run using it.

The only thing I would add is during the large address aware I think you apply it to the application within the mod folder, but if it works the way you described excellent as well.

No worries, so check the MEDM 1207 application and make sure it matches your Medieval II Total war/mods/MEDM location. For example mine says this...

D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Medieval II Total War\mods\MEDM

make sure yours matches how it's set up for your system. So look at another of your mods and use that as an example.

Also, make your main medieval folder II has a kingdoms application. if not just copy the medieval2 application and rename it to kingdoms so now you'll have 2 applications one medieval2 and one kingdoms

Let me know if that works.

Thanks

There are 2 different downloads for each era. The main difference is the start date and I removed Portugal from 1207 in order to add the Latin Empire so if you want to play as Portugal use 1191 download. Otherwise, use 1207 for the Latin empire. Also, Mongols and Papal states are playable in 1207 version. Enjoy!! please give feedback after you try the mod out. thanks

I don't have that problem but it's an easy fix just go into the data folder and find the vegetation folder and just delete it. That will put trees back to vanilla style. I would just do a custom battle first see if its still messed up for you if so then delete vegetation folder. Then your good. Also thanks for the praise regarding mod!

You should at least add the last patch which is only one file depending on the campaign your playing. It makes it so the household units will be recruitable by factions and since its just a building file it will not effect your current campaign. Until I get the rest worked out hopefully later this week.

ok let me see whats going on I'll try and update soon, maybe I made an error somewhere during the patches. I may have to re-test working versions for both 1191 and 1207 or just release both separately to avoid confusion. It works perfect on my end but, so that's good at least. So maybe hold off a few days I'll try and get it going before the end of week.

make sure in the MEDM folder the cfg file is named MEDM and use the application within that folder to launch. It works just something you could be forgetting to do. If your doing that and still doesn't work let me know.

Thanks for the heads up, I found the problem and fixed it. Its not a perfect fix because that would require a ton of coding but at least it won't spawn units out continuously. I'll release with next update or patch.

I uploaded a bat file, you'll still need to run large address aware or you'll get crashes.

D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Medieval II Total War\mods\MEDM

once inside the MEDM folder apply large address aware to the MEDM 1191 application and launch mod through application. Thats it, if not working then something is wrong on your end. also make sure the cfg file is also named MEDM

ya that's typically in every mod, did you apply patch 6.1 and then 6.1c, because patch 6.1 includes fixes for bai.

yes, start with 6.1 then add 6.1b. Also if you want to play with new faction must drop contents from 1207 folder into data folder. and re-apply 6.1b
