I'm using Python and Qt Designer

Is Python and Qt Designer the "easiest" way or do you think there are other ways VC++ or so? Or why to chose PY?
I chose Python because it is the language I know best right now. And developing with Python, Qt5 and Qt Designer is becoming easy for me.
I'm not familiar with VC++ or any other methods to do this. Which one would you recommend?
Ocasionally i check what is available, but can't recommend anything because not much experience.
So far i only worked with batch and bit AutoHotKey,
which also got an GUI, not the best.
