I think I'm the first person to actually complete this mod without cheating at the end. It needs more medkits and not-shotgun ammo.

The ending is also very very hard.

This mod aimed to re-create the full storyline and events as described in Raising the Bar, and this mod definitely succeeds in this department! It's especially impressive how they were able to recreate several key areas from concept art and old screenshots by hand within a short time! I would like to congratulate the developers of this mod for finishing it within the time constraints that they placed upon themselves, and with the limited amount of reference material at hand.

Overall 10/10 because of the mod's accuracy to the old storyline and the fact that it can be completed within an hour.

Pros:

Some new weapons,
Fancy particle effects,
Small details that don't affect game-play but are appreciated,
Easy configuration,
Sound effects are more impactful,
Weapon animations and models are high quality.

Cons:

Some A.I behavior tweaks seem unfair,
Weapon stat changes make some weapons less useful,
Not enough new content to warrant a full Half-Life 2 play-through (you've seen everything the mod has to offer by the time you reach Nova Prospekt),
Some weapon reload animations are too long.
