Ok now I understand.
Your CPU is no pure gaming CPU and definitely not suitable.
Take a look at these benchmarks:
Cpubenchmark.net
The 760k gets just 4543 Passmark (Rank 511).
My 6 years old i5-3570k gets 7132 Passmark (Rank 269)and I bought it cause IT IS a gaming processor.
So playing with a 760k is for sure no fun.
And I still believe there's something else wrong with the cooling or the CPU!
Cause we've tested with an E8500 (wich is rank 1018!) and got temperatures about 35-40°C
But there's a way to improve the game performance: lower the visual range from 3000 (meters) to 1500 or better 1000.
Once you've started the map press ESC and disable the shadows.
Dynamic shadows calculation is A LOT of work for the CPU!
Atm. the shadow setting doesn't get stored in the configuration, so you'll have to disable shadows each time you start a map.
But I try to change this in the next version.
