I got it to work by taking the original mod and adding it to the patch in the Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer and did not replace any files with the same name.

I got the game to launch via the Source SDK Base 2013 singleplayer, but there is a purple/black pattern on the ground in the main screen and no maps to play...
