Description
So i made the Long range medium turbolaser for Vindicator and Dreadnought.
The tower itself is 956 polys. the base is 314 and will be put with the ships and not the turret.
Sweeeeeeeet lasers^^
It's actually a HTL same caliber as on the ISD-2 per Fractal. Glad to see you doing the dreadnaught we could use a Fractal version of it.
hrm the barrel was the one from the Octuples? if so the barrel would be HTL but the tower is not much bigger then the QTL and MTL weapons, so i would still push it into the MTL range from size
Yep same barrel as the octuples. The turret doesn't have to be nearly as big for one barrel as for eight but even still it's a bit bigger than the quad MTL and that turret has 4 barrels. I like reading the stats Fractal gives to his ships as much as looking at the pictures. A heavy TL per Fractal ratings is 1 teratons and above so there is still significant differences in power.
ISD 2's barrels per Fractal are 40 teratons x 8 per turret so that's 320 so it would have to be significantly larger than the single barrel version. ISD-1's barrels are 175 teratons so the turret is huge and beefy but combined is similar in size to the ISD-2's since the total firepower is in the same ballpark.
Ah ok, i will still stick to MTL for the turret size, heavy would be for towers like the venator one and bigger
