You probally knew this already, but to install Half-Life mods you put the mod folder in your Half-Life folder, if you have a mod on the Source engine, you put that in your source mods folder which is located in your steam apps folder. You need steam for this, or it probally won't work, you also need to restart steam after doing this.
I got it now, I was familiar with Steam and I have installed Half-Life 2 mods before manually, I just didn't know what folder to put it in for an original Half-Life mod. Thank you!
