Its going to be set around 268-270 A.D. Dodger, at the tail end of the "crisis" when the empire was split in three amongst Rome, Palmyrene, and the Gallic Empire, so information regarding that period would be more relevant.

Definitely part of the reason for me going with this timeframe is because it's an interesting period which is seldom mentioned, so I welcome the challenge of the "dark era" of Roman lore if you will.

Hey Dodger, to answer your question yes it is.

I've uploaded a news update for the page some hours ago, but it's still pending authorization from an admin.

Once done it will explain things more.

Nope not dead, still kicking.

Just to reiterate as mentioned before, the mod will be for the latest version of Warband.

Sorry about the hiatus. Been busy with R/L and other things.

Whats going on with the mod now is an overhaul to the scene props for most cultures.

Many things are done, but there is still a good bit of work to do.

Just a reminder:

Now that Warband is the current latest version of M&B, the mod will be ported and released on that platform.

actually no it hasn't.

If you had taken the time to read you would realize that this is a new version being worked on with all new features, items, which has NOT been released.

Clearly stated in the summary and on the home site.

In almost all cases, modders cannot forecast a completion time for a mod.

This happens to be one of those cases.

Vergina Sun to be exact.

And like you mention, it wasn't exclusive to Macedon, as other Hellenic peoples made use of it.

No. Certainly played it though, so there will be some noticable inspirations :)

Most is from osprey concepts, or archealogical inspirations, or concepts from restructures, or reinactment communities etc.

Some cases its been about speculation, and for most of the factions, the units and equipment available to them is based on what their neighbors were doing.

I think you're reading to much into the video without all the facts in your favor, or considering the basics
