I'm getting a successful launch, and on a new game (haven't tried an in progress save) the prices appeared to have been adjusted - though my test run was cut short by Windows Update deciding to reboot me. So far so good, however.

I threw my steam patch files up on Megaupload, maybe they'll help you get to the bottom of things. It's not letting me put the URLs in properly, but here they are

Hi - I love the idea of your mod, but I've been encountering an issue no-one else seems to be having, so I thought I'd ask you about it.

I have the Steam version of Far Cry 2 (most recent steam update, claims to be 1.03, and has the Fortunes DLC) - but whenever I attempt to use your mod (.3, 1.0 or 1.01) the game suffers a crash to desktop with no error message just as it should be reaching the main menu. There's no apparent error log file or anything that I could find which would explain what happened. The game launches correctly with the original / re-verified patch.fat and .dat files, but consistently crashes with your modified files.

Is there anything you can think of I might be doing wrong to cause this? Similarly, is there any additional information I can get you which might help diagnose the cause of this issue?

EDIT: Just saw the post Flameuser made in the 1.0 comments. I'm getting the exact same problem he is.
