Maybe its the bonus package then? i got the steam version so eh, ill just disable it and uninstall the plugin manager.

As said though, dont use any (or have installed) any scripts other then LU ones. and those not through the mannager but directly in folders.

It works fine. Maybe its because i run the game through the plugin manager (though i dont use any plugins other then some of the LU ones and installed all directly in the folder and not through the manager)

Hmm maybe i messed something up when upgrading from 1.2.3 to 1.2.4 but instead of the turbo boost i get "unnamed" (2 times so imagines its mark 1 and 2) in the faction base.

Wondered where i got -80 reputation from. Though might have been something else.

Maybe me bribing the Valkyre faction.

Had a firefight, and the trained military troops of the valkyres dominated the lousy bandit units, so thats fine.

In the end its not even mods, now i can go thoguh them on my original save (the one where it crashed) without issues with the same mods.

Just X3 being X3 i guess. Did find it strange that mods that dont/shouldnt alter the jump gates/accelerators would mess with them.

Trans orbital accelerators seem to crash the game. At least the one from albion gamma to albion beta. With the C90 and the X wing alike.

EDIT: The one from Oort Cloud to "Unknown Sector" (South gate in OOrt cloud) works fine for tie fighter at least.

But the one to Pluto (east gate) crashes the game.

Maybe its something on my end (i modded my game with some scripts and such).

So the trans orbital accelerator from albion gama to albion beta (think so?) crashes my game. Tried a few times just to be sure but seems so. Will try the empire side to try their toa's.

Also tried to turn off the "show warp tunnel" option but still crashed :(

Doing it with my C90 corvette so will try with the x wing.

Just a note, even with applying the Hungarian Swordsman fix and the rest of the patches after it, the hungarian swordsman still has no weapon. I assume since he has shields he has a one handed weapon. Ill just add one myself. But since most are just called "sword" ill pick a random one heh.

EDIT: ill try to just copy paste the hungarian swordsman part into troop.txt and see if that fixes it.
EDIT 2 : Eh seems now that i re-applied the 1.1 bugfix patch that they do have swords. Maybe missed adding that bugfix or something.

You found a workaround for the plot breaking from removing stock exchanges? I was quiet dissapinted back when i found out it breaks the plot mission Corporate Troble and the ability to get a HQ (and the quest that follows)

I get your dislike for them as i dont use them in the base game either but i found the removal of them kind of pointless as if someone wants to use such a exploit anyway they can just use a script to add money.
Heck using the script is far easier then spending half your game time waiting for the stock market to change.

Either way cant wait for it.

I ran all of those and more easily enough with the mod manager.

But some like the escape pod are really fitting with the SW theme of the mod and people might not be aware of them.

Woot, so 1.0 is only a week or so away, what a fine time to get back into X3AP.

In the meantime ill play the regular game to gather all the achievements i disable whenever i mod the hell out of my game.

Changelingas puppeted Olenia, Griffons go Harmony, Sombra returns and Stalliongrad is plotting a revolution in my lands... im doomed whne in 30 days the Changelings declare war but its frigging fun.

I simply declare war on the buffalo (allows me to go early mobilization to free up factories). Then create the "Celestia Line", 3-4-5 level forts on the line between me and Changelings (and Olenia as i let them fall).

Like the new technology tree, being new in general to HOI i sitll have lots to learn and try so ill probably mess up big time by playing around with everything but eh, it certainly seems different from Vicky or CK at least for now.

you just need a stock exchange, not the stock exchange trading option. Same is needed for further missions when it asks you to find some guy in a specific one. (for the first mission you can dock in any, even spawn one using cheats but for the rest its broken without stock exchange stations).

Is there a way to keep the stations but disable the stock trading? That would enable the rest of the missions to continue and getting your HQ.

The complete removal of all stock exchanges(? didnt find any at least in all the sectors i visited so far lol ) makes it impossible to do the missions past the first plot line (getting the hub and the HQ) since the mission for Shady Business requires for you to go to a stock exchange and speak to a person in any of the stock exchanges.

Then again i "fixed" it by spawning one, but then ran into another bug so not sure if its related to this or simply a base game bug.
