I actually "fixed" it... Created my own TXI's for it, mapped CM_Baremetal or CM_Carbon (purely personal choices) and it did the trick.

I could send them to you if you like - only places I haven't done (yet) is Unknown World, StarForge and the Leviathan.
I'll be out the next couple of weeks, but I could send them to you as soon as I get back.

PM me @ DeadlyStream and I'll send you a link to download them all. Their yours anyways - you're the one painting such awesome scenery

Dude your OTE textures are almost unmatched - I use them everytime I play either KOTOR or TSL.

I do have one question - I have been getting a lot of transparent textures for KOTOR1 with any TGA's that have an ALPHA channel built in - I have fixed it manually by adding my own TXI's with CM_baremetal (or some other cubemap). And by fixed, it's just not transparent anymore but may not accurately depict the texture effects you were looking for.

So 1-1/2 part question(s):

A: Do you have any thoughts or your original TXI's?
- I tried converting them to DDS, but no change there

B: If A=NO, then maybe just let me know what CM's you wanted to use for them and I'll just add them myself.

Thanks again!!!

MUST HAVE MOD!!! Played through it, added a whole new dynamic.
Made you feel like your NPC just entered a f***ed up situation...which, they did, so it fits

Does anybody know if the GOG release has been digitally remastered or anything? Just curious - I have this game, but it's the old NO CD version with upgraded texture files created by the fine people creating them and posting them via ModDB. If the new one has been reworked, $18 for both games would be very much worth the $ methinks...

Thank you!

Does anybody know if the Duplisaber project that was supposed to combine several lightsaber mods (including USM) is fully compatible with TSLRCM? I keep seeing it as in progress - It would be freakin sweet if the USM was integrated into TSLRCM as SWKOTOR2 isn't even worth playing anymore WITHOUT the restored content.

I ask because I did install USM w/ TSLRCM - NOT COMPATIBLE, I KNOW :) But...I thought, what the hell, why not - we'll just deal with the issues as they come.
It was pretty baddass, up until the storyline just wouldn't progress past Korriban. So now I'll be reinstalling... :)

Just curious - I really enjoyed what USM brought to the game, just wish it integrated with what you guys are doing.

Is it happening after combat? Mine still does this sometimes. V-Sync can effect it - think I turned V-Sync on, but it still happens sometimes.
only way I've really been able to get through it is to save game, then load the game from that save - kind of a pain, but it seems to work for me.

Hope that helps

Make sure that you're playing in compatibility mode for XP Svc Pack 2 or 3 - sometimes I've seen it make a difference - mine is currently set at XP Svc Pack 2 with no issues. I did have keyboard issues before I set it to XP.

I'm assuming you've tried running it in compatibility mode for WinXP SvcPack2...? I had some keyboard issues and minor crashing issues until I applied this fix.

Dude...you guys kick ***!!!
Just got into this whole "modding thing" (which basically just means I install other-people's hard work :-P ). This entire experience has improved the entire game-play so much that, at times, it's almost like playing an entirely NEW game.
I am absolutely fascinated by the modding process - after reading some posts about what tools/apps that are recommended, I'd like to take a crack at it (it will probably be a couple of years before anything productive comes out of it...). I would like to start using TSLRM 1.8.3 w/ M4-78P all installed as a base - As I am new to this, I would NEVER try this without permission from the modders - do I need to email Zbyl2, DarthStoney, Hassat Hunter & VarsityPuppet for permission before I start? What is proper modding etiquette?
