This is a review for the MC2 campaign mod. I REALLY want to like this mod. I can finally play MC2 again. The problem is this: the mod crashes frequently, enemy mechs are EXTREMELY tanky (it's really bad), exploding fuel tanks do laughable damage now, your pilots gunnery skill does not go up after a mission so it's near impossible to level a pilot to a higher rank. I can tell the author really likes high difficulty games but this no where near the same experience as the original MC2 campaign.
