If your familiar with rpfm, its in the agent_tables folder, faction total cap column. The vanilla caps are 5 agents of each type.

Slightly lowered base naval morale. Small tweak to armor pen and melee def. Updated with more of Markeason's retainer fixes.

This mod does address the navy and navy bombardment spam in fots. AI should spend a little less on navy, smaller ships no longer have the bombardment option, bombardment range is reduced, ports have their area of influence/defense increased. Ships have unit caps.

No reskins and no new units but missing units added, like Takeda Great Guard, Uesugi matchlock monks, etc.

you can manually mod the game through the user.script.txt file found in your appdata>roaming>the creative assembly>shogun2>scripts. If you don't have a user.script.txt in that folder create one. Make sure when you "save as" the txt file encoding is set to UTF-16 LE. Open up the user.script.txt and add your mods in this format. ex

mod custom_shogun2.pack;

mod generalskill.pack;

mod factioneffects.pack;

no spaces in between

I use these mods in my personal version. I really recommend them- steam workshop Steamcommunity.com Shogun 2 HD mod and Steamcommunity.com Fall of the samurai HD. For my setup they give my shogun2 a massive performance boost. See if it's the same case for your setup.

Thank you for your comment and feedback. That smaller number is the same with all initial starting free units, does not matter the clan. All beginning unit sizes is determined by the start.pos file which is different from editing regular unit stats (and much harder to edit). It has been a while since I played Darthmod but I think it had the same issue when using ultra unit size. I have tested editing the starting troop numbers but it leads to other problems. If you increase the starting unit numbers, then when you play on lower unit sizes the starting units would now be greater. I do agree it is slightly annoying but I now just look at them as starter/garrison troops and disband them when they are no longer useful. I think this is only an issue with large and ultra unit sizes for the mod.

If your Tokugawa campaign crashes on the first turn when you click on Mikawa, before you click on Mikawa, move/garrison the starting outside army into Mikawa first! Should have no problems after that initial move. Still trying to figure out why some people have this issue. Working on fixing the problem.

Shogun 2, FOTS and ROTS campaign/units edits and balancing completed. Unless there are any glaring oversights or units over/under performing this should be the last round of edits for the foreseeable future. Good luck out there gg and have fun! Suggestions, feedback, comments welcome!

Hi if your talking about how units look during battle it's the VUS 1.3 (Vasator unit style) option in Darthmod launcher. If your talking about the campaign map it's the Sengoku Campaign Retexture by Engineer Weierstrass.

Thank you for the kind words! The modding community for TW is amazing, always helped out with any questions and as you can see allow for use of their mods. Thank you for the feedback about the archer limit! The feedback we are getting seems to be people want more archers. Later this week we will either increase or just get rid of archer limits and see how we like how the AI reacts with it's army builds.

Hi sorry to hear that. I had a few friends download the mod and try and they had no crashes. I would try seeing if the game works with no mods, just the normal game. Then maybe verify steam files. If you had older mods maybe they are still in folders or pieces of them not totally deleted. Also if you are using Darthmod launcher the BullGod and Projectile boosts should be off. Thank you for the reports though!

Hi and thank you for the replies and reports it really helps us! I just played a Tokugawa campaign till 1550 with no crashes and I was able to click on their capitol without any crashes. Would you mind turning off our mod and trying to see if vanilla tokugawa campaign does not crash for you?

Thank you for the report. I believe it is a known bug/limitation of the game and not a bug with the mod itself.

"For some reason, when using my daimyo mod, textures on daimyos in campaign selection screen might appear (and usually do) messed up. I don't know exactly what causes it - it might have something to do with the way those models are displayed (3d model on 2d background), something with memory allocation there, or some hardcoded shader issue. Simply put, I have no idea - It started after one of game updates and I don't know what to do to fix that.
But because this issue is restricted to campaign selection screen only I really don't care much. You select your daimyo and farewell, you don't have to see this bug again as long as you don't start new campaign. Just a small glitch.

Big update! pack now includes Bullgod's Daimyo Multipack UPDATED 2021 by BullGod, Mars, and Mr.Take and Oda General avatar campaign banner fix by DPFLH and Kami Ho. Thank you all so much for permission to incorporate your mods into this overhaul. If using Darthlauncher you no longer have to use the Bullgod option. Make sure you turn off the old option!
