Looks good, looking forward to playing it.
Tracking, looks good.
Looks promising, definitely tracking.
Will this be released before the end of the year?
The grunt killed me after I put the oil on the wheel. I respawned without the oil and the oil wasn't in its previous place where I picked it up before. I couldn't continue the story without it and I wasn't going to restart the story. But here's my review for up until then:
I enjoyed the story, it was very detailed and obviously very thought out. I liked all the notes you put down to keep us up to date with what was going on.
I loved the prison area, it felt kind of like a maze, also had a very scary atmosphere, but I felt because there were so many monsters in there, it kind of ruined the atmosphere - every time I picked up something of importance, I kinda expected a monster encounter or a scare.
I liked all the detail - though some of the rooms lacked detail and looked kinda empty (e.g in the prison area, that big room with the huge dead body on the table).
Oil/tinderbox distribution was good - I didn't find any oil at all (apart from the barrel thingo in the Sewer), and I figured early in the story that I would have to conserve my oil. Tinderboxes were well hidden and you were very generous with them.
Very well made, I enjoyed playing it!
Didn't really like the story line, but that's just my opinion.
Some of the maps felt very empty and too big - there were also some clipping issues.
The lighting was nicely done but because some of the rooms were too big the atmosphere the lighting created went mostly unnoticed (e.g the Library, Upstairs).
The custom music you used in the library was awesome, I really liked it.
I also liked how fast you use oil; it forces you to be more conservative and strategic.
Good CS overall, I enjoyed playing it.
This was terrible. It was just a jumpfest with no real scares. The puzzles (if you can call them that) were simple and boring.
The level design was okay, though most of the level's were way too big.
The tinderbox/oil distribution wasn't too good. There were tinderboxes EVERYWHERE, and the oil was okay.
Your grammar/spelling needs a lot of improvement. I'm not sure if English is your first language, but if it is, that's sad.
As I said, it felt like a time trial, which I personally didn't like.
No oil or candles to light = insanity.
Good story line and plot, I really enjoyed it. Good scares - I loved all the tension building and suspense.
I really loved the lighting, it gave a really scary atmosphere (especially in the prison/machine room).
Though I did feel the story was dragged out a bit.
Good oil/tinderbox distribution, amazing lighting, good level design, scary atmosphere, good story line.
I hope you make a sequel to this, it was amazing.
I liked the story line, it was unique, although very short.
Tinderbox distribution was bad, but that doesn't matter as there weren't a lot of candles to light anyway - in the last area, it was completely dark with no candles to light, which forced you to use your lantern, and since the oil distribution was also terrible, it felt like a time trial. You have to get to the end of the story before you run out of oil.
Not many good scares, the first scare with the brute was obviously a hallucination. I did enjoy the storyline though.
Nevermind, I fell off the map, died and finished the story.
Was a bit short but I really liked it. Can't wait for part two.
I was really enjoying it until I encountered a bug. In the Prison Cells area, as you walk in, to the left side of the doors, the corner is bugged. I backed into this corner and I was able to move outside the map and I couldn't get back in.
But still, awesome custom story, I'll restart it so I can keep playing it. I was really enjoying it. Good plot and creepy atmosphere. There were some clipping issues (in the Kitchen and such) though.
Just finished the original. Loved it, scary atmosphere and really good jump scares. It was a bit short but I really enjoyed it.
Playing it right now, really enjoying it.
Good job, can't wait to finish it.
