It looks a Famicom game, with some Sega Master System-ish music at times.

Quite difficult maybe, even if you're used to playing hard NES games, like you know, the usual, Ninja Gaiden or Contra without the 30 lives code. Of course it seems to get harder the further you go as well.

You run, slash, duck and jump out of the way and throw grenades at enemies that can be difficult if you get too close.

It's being unusually kind to you, by letting you start at a stage you've already reached before. It keeps a high-score if you care about that sorta thing.

Maybe you've played most NES/Famicom action games and want something you haven't tried yet, or you just like the action games in general, then Oniken is for you.
