Greetings! Is there a way to download the In Memory Amnesia mod, or has it been lost forever? After playing Isle and Simulacrum long ago, I would be most grateful if you provided me with a link or restored the download link on the mod's page, as I feel like a game from such a talented and proficient dev doesn't deserve to be forgotten!
I've sat on this thought for quite sometime since you presented to me in response to a comment concerning the Deus Ex Revision soundtrack-- a six second concept sample of your take on the Area 51 Surface Combat track.
What would it take to complete the piece, might I ask? I ask this because I'm extremely curious about the completed piece and although EdenShard did well with at least 80% of the soundtrack and keeping it in the same vein as the original, I feel his A51 combat track is lacking the Oomph and chaotic nature of the original and I believe I would highly prefer yours.
I think many would love to hear it and replacing the current A51 track with it would be fantastic! (Or rather the Walton Simon's boss battle because I feel it would have fit way better for the nostalgia factor and a badass boss battle track).
I wanted to send this in a direct message but I felt it too personal and I didn't want to make it awkward lol
Sure, I'd be happy to take a spin on that track again. When I find the time I'll see about working it into a full redux, although I couldn't tell you whether or not that will make it into Revision in the future. We'll see!
Hi Logan,
I have been working on my first amnesia custom story for about half a year now centered around the Spanish Inquisition. I can script and use the level editor well enough but I feel my mod is lacking in ambiance, and I think an original soundtrack would help a lot. I write orchestral music using Finale but I was wondering what kind of software(s) you used to make the soundtrack for the subconscious trails; it was the best original soundtrack I've heard for an amnesia mod yet! I don't know often you check this page but if you could help me out I'd definitely appreciate it!
Thanks bro
Thanks Dangles! The music for The Subconscious Trials was written using Reason 5, with the help of sample libraries for orchestra by Miroslav, Sonic Reality, and Vienna Instruments, with percussion using Nine Volt's "Action Drums: Taiko Edition." There were also a handful of my own sound recordings here and there.
I hope this is helpful to you. Best of luck on your project!
Thanks! I'll look into them :)
Let's collaborate. I can throw in some free samples and bad mixing ( Soundcloud.com ) and you can provide me with talent and quality.
What do ya SAY?
Sign me up! :)
How are your works on your Amnesia Custom story "simulacrum" going?
I'll be able to get back to it when the holiday break rolls around
